Adventure activities

The adventure activity options in Chiang Mai have increased dramatically over the past 10 years, and the destination now boasts a wide range of programmes, many conducted in some of the most beautiful areas of northern Thailand.

Standards of course vary from one operator to the other, programme pricing is very competitive, the lower the price the greater the chance that it will be indicative of the equipment, personnel training levels and safety standards involved.

ATV (All Terrain Vehicles)

North of Chiang Mai, about 30 minutes from the city, are a series of ATV operators who offer a variety of ATV programmes. We recommend an option that provides a 3 hour loop (plus 1.5 hours travelling time) though forest, villages and reaches incredible peaks that provide stunning views. Prices include return transfer, guide on site, insurance, equipment, safety training and refreshments. Hotel pick up 8am, 11am or 2pm. Lower prices are available for those wishing to be a passenger, rather than ride their own ATV.
